After our training at Collyer Quay last Wednesday, 12May2010, we decided to eat buffet at Raffles Hotel.

It's supposedly a better international buffet spread than The Line at Shangri La, and I couldn't agree more. There weren't that many food choices, even the basic tempura wasn't in sight, but the quality and taste of whatever food they serve was very good and fresh.

The cod fish was just perfect. Tender, moist and tasty. So were the scallops. If I didn't bite into a tiny shell one time, it would've been perfect.

I'm not a salad person, but even the greens were fresh and tasty. I liked the baguette with the duck something.

Above all, I couldn't get the bread pudding with vanilla sauce out of my mind. It was just lovely.
Total bill for two people was SGD161 (including a 5% discount from using UOB card), but compared to a hundred we paid for the buffet at The Line, I'd say this is much more worth it.
