It's Not Me If I Don't Talk About Food

Happy bolo! I missed this. Bought it from Daiso, the 2 dollar store.
It's the small cookie thingy, which feels warm as it melts on your tongue. It's a childhood food.

John something fastfood. Darn it, I'm having memory loss. I can only remember John Little, which is a department store.
Oh, Long John Silver!

Bread. I don't like these pan breads.. But I bought it because I have a can of tuna salad spread, which I wasn't able to use because I brought the bread to the office and it wouldn't look nice to go spreading the spread in front of my officemates. There, what a long sentence.

Dumpling soup from Lau Pa Sat. Not nice.

Twix, a treat for myself.

Eating my banana with my Reuters screen as a backdrop.

Banana is going to turn into mush soon, judging from its skin.

Healthy Grub

My super favorite caesar salad from Soup Spoon. It's one of the best! It has bacon bits, sun dried tomatoes, croutons and egg. And the dressing, it's super good!
The regular order is SGD7.50

My first egg after 1 month deprivation (you know what they say, you can't eat chicken or egg while having chicken pox)

Expensive cup of fruit from Cedele. I think it's SGD2.80. But at least the fruits were crunchy and sweet.

Chatime

Newly opened tea store at Velocity Mall. Had I been well that time, I would've queued up on the first day. I love trying out new things!

So, today, I finally decided to go and try it out. After all, my chicken pox diet is over (It's been a month already).

I bought the Chatime Roasted Milk tea because it's one of their recommended drinks.

I could taste the 'roast' factor in the drink. I guess it's okay, but not sure if I chose the right combination though. 50% sugar and 70% less ice.

Actually, I find their choices a bid more troublesome. For most stores, you get to choose your sugar level. If you want it 10%, 50% 70% sugar... you get the drift.

For Chatime, it's the reverse. From what I can remember, it's:

30% less sugar, 70% less sugar

40% less ice, 70% less ice.

So, you'd have to compute what's left.

For example, 70% less sugar, so it means it's only 30% sugar. But why make it so complicated?

Just give the percentage option of what you want, darn it.

Thunder Tea Rice

B rating

The garnishes. Yum. But, I asked them not to add the peanut, and next time, I'll ask them not to put the ikan bilis too. Because it's too troublesome for my teeth.

Doesn't look too appealing, but it's yum yum

For dinner, I bought fried fish fillet too.

SO all you got to do is mix mix mix.

And add the green sauce, which I think is basil-based.

Yummmmmmmy!

*******************************************************************

I like Thunder Tea Rice! You can either choose brown rice or white rice. Then, they would put some toppings - I think 4 kinds of veggies, then peanuts, ikan bilis and fish floss (I think).

I Bought it from Lau Pa Sat, though they have other branches.

Gym

On Thursday, I suddenly had the urge to go to the gym. Like suddenly, I wanted to go home and workout. Weird.

Credit Card

My first credit card in Singapore, after being here for 3 years.

Actually, I'm not sure it's a good idea to have this card. I mean, I survived the past 3 years without it. But, on the other hand, I could earn points. Hmmm...

Actually, I've already bought vanity goods from Watson's and Guardian. Hee.

New Discoveries, New Love

Hada Labo - "One Drop Locks up an Ocean" "1 sold every 4 seconds in Japan!"
I saw their ad somewhere, and you know me, I'm a sucker for these things.
I bought a bottle, thinking that to counter the scars from chicken pox, I want to make the rest of my face super clear and super smooth (I wish!).

It didn't make my skin clearer,(but) I've only been using it for 3 days plus it's really just for hydration more than anything else.

I'm pleased with this product. My skin is so much softer, and it's true, that after you apply, you'll feel your skin go boing boing (as in bouncy).

My skin is now smooth.. now I just have to look for a product to make it clear.

Banana crumble from Cedele. I'm in the crumble-lovin phase. I don't know why, but I've been craving it for days.

This one is good. I love it.

At last, I found this case!
Tibby, you've got a new shirt.

Thunder tea rice. I tried this for lunch, and I bought it again for dinner. So nice!

Apple crumble from Hans. This is very nice too, better than Spinelli, at half the price.

I'm Not Going Back!

Braised kangaroo meat.

Buffalo wings

My snapper fillet cooked in paper.

************************************************************

We went back to The House of Robert Timms tonight after watching Limitless.

My friends ordered the shrimp pasta, kangaroo meat and buffalo wings.

I ordered the snapper fillet (I had to eat soft food because of my recent tooth extraction).

Everything smelled nice, everything looked appealing, but...the taste was just lacking. I didn't like my fish. The fish broth was okay, but the fish itself was, well, just plain fish.

I don't know how the other dishes taste like, but when I asked my friend if she liked the food, she said she didn't.

Well, we gave it a try.. ate there twice, but it's just not worth going back a third time.

My First Non-Sale Mango Top

Look at the size, EUR S, XS, USA 4. Yey!

Eh, why so blurry? It looked fine in my phone...

The pattern is super duper cute!

****************************************************************

I can't remember ever buying a top from Mango that's not on sale.. Well, maybe their basic tees.

I couldn't resist this cute polo though, it's red, it has sail boats, and it fits me well.

I can't remember how much it is already, but I just know it's a bit pricey.

Can't wait to wear it!

Awooo... Full Moon

The moon, so close and so bright. I love it.

Eat Eat Eat. Sick or No Sick. Toothache or No Toothache.

My usual lunch - from chinese mixed rice stalls at Lau Pa Sat.
3 veggies and rice or plain porridge.

That's a lot of veggies. I love it!

New Korean resto in Plaza Singapura

It seems authentic, because all the cooks and wait staff are Koreans.

I ordered the dumpling ramyun. A bit too salty for me (maybe because I'm used to eating bland food already), but otherwise, it's okay.

I was doing overtime last Tuesday, so I bought myself a treat from Spinelli.

Apple crumble.

I used to hate cinnamon, but now I'm starting to like it.

Personal tastes does change with age.

*I'm using chopsticks which I used to eat the beehon my friend gave me because Spinelli didn't give me any fork.
