Hong Kong Food - Hits & Misses (es es es...)

Saturday night - about 10:30pm, we were looking for this pizza place, but couldn't find it. Then, suddenly Tsui Wah came to our view. Wee! It's one of the restos that I wanted to try because I read about it in the net.

So many choices!

We ordered 2 things ,which were in their recommended list.
My HK milk tea.

The darn thing which kept me awake for 3 hours. Was finally able to sleep close to 5am, before waking up at about 720am the next day. Oh, a few hours after, rather.

I'm not a bread person, so I may not be a good judge to this.. But, generally it's okay. It's something I would order again.

Toasted bread, crispy yet still soft inside with drizzling of condensed milk.

Crispy noodles with prawn and chili with tomato sauce. Yummy.

The more I think about it now, the more I realise that it's good.

11:36PM and still munching.

Milk tea champagne, which was sold out that night.

Dessert at Hui Liu Shan. My mango with coconut and the bowl of fruits.

My friend's mango with coconut milk. I liked this better!

HLS take-away

Not cold anymore, not nice.

Sunday breakfast.

Maxim's at Cityall.
We got there about 9am so there wasn't any queue yet. I think the queue started about 10am or so.

Veggie dumpling - ok but not spectacular

Beef ball - go0d enough. tender beef balls.

The yummy century egg porridge. But I suspect it's msg laden, because we became super duper thirsty afterwards. As in. Probably from 3pm til night.
The dimsum aunties pushing their metal dimsum carts.

There's the siomai auntie, the steamed buns auntie, the har gaw auntie...

The har gaw with the translucent skin and big shrimp inside. Mmm...

*insert - I'm am getting super irritated now. It's taking me ages to add comments to these pictures. I'm not sure what the problem is. It's been like 2 hours!

At 10:51pm 20Nov. I cannot, for the life of me, finish this blog tonight. It's responding so slowly!

At 10:47pm 2Dec. Okay, apparently there's been some updates. That's why using the old template took years.
