Stinky Fish

My friend and I had dinner at F.I.S.H , 313 Somerset one Friday night.
Order a main dish, and you get to eat as much salad as you want from their salad bar.
Sounds like a good deal!

My friend ordered fish, while I ordered their seafood cannelloni.

From the salad bar. Not bad.
 My cannelloni.
Bad.
So bad I couldn't bring myself to finish it. And I love food! So for me to leave something behind, it only means I'm sick, super duper full, or it's super duper bad.

In this case, I found it super duper bad. It tasted super sweet and the texture was slimy.

Food!

Dumpling noodle soup from my favorite noodle place in Far East Plaza. I still don't know the name, but it's on the 5th floor, selling la mian, fish soup, dumpling soup.. Yum!
 Their chili is the best!
Mee hoon kway from Lau Pa Sat.  I tried it simply because it's the cheapest in their menu.
I liked it! Though nothing would beat the Mee hoon kway from Far East Plaza

10 pcs dumpling soup from the food court at United Square. Yum! I think this started my dumpling cravings!
 At Maxwell Centre.
Super worth it! This is the medium size, SGD4.
It's got char siew, fu zhou fish ball and wontons. Yummy! I'll definitely go back.
So forgetful, I forgot that I took a bite of a fishball and didn't finish it. Then I took a bite from another fishball and didn't finish it too.
Arrowhead chips! Bought this from Cake History Tanjong Pagar.
I love these chips, which are only sold during the Chinese New Year.
This arrowhead chips is a bit disappointing though, there's something wrong with it that I can't pinpoint.
Banana Muffin, also from Cake History. It's not a zoomed shot, the muffin is just huuuuge!
It's okay... only problem is, the banana essence was a bit too strong.
Spaghetti Bolognese from Pasta Pantry (?) in the Raffles City foodcourt.
Tastes very homey, and looks very homey too. It's as if I cooked it myself.
 Cherries!
Went cherry picking at Cold Storage the other day.
Yum yum yum!
So today (Saturday - Dec17 2011),  I bought a box of cherries again, since they didn't have unboxed ones. Disappointed though, as some of them are already mushy. Hmp, and it cost me SGD15.

Cherries are expensive. All of them! No matter which specie.

Re-posted

There's something wrong here... complete beauty regime?  perhaps a typo...
No it's not! There's another  'regime' on the next page.
It's regimen , not regime!
 Oh.
I think I'm still a little bit old fashioned, so I'd rather not comment.
Nooooooooooooooo! not chocolates... noooooooooooooooooo!

No Title

 Purple Nike dri-fit polo
The only item I bought from Changi Point, a new mall across Singapore Expo which boasts of numerous (but useless) outlet stores.

Like for Nike , their items are just SGD10 dollars off. Hello, how thick-faced to call it 'outlet store' when it's just ten dollars cheaper.

I bought my Nike from Royal Sporting House, which was selling it at 50% off.
Fruit from our office fruit day. Not the usual bananas and apples and pears.
Rice biscuit. It's not fried, nor baked. A machine pops it out! I took a picture of it, but now I can't find it.
It's a big disc, and very very light .
The second guy from the left is an artiste. I don't know the name.
I semi-stalked him for about 10 seconds.
The most expensive elephant (for the elephant parade here in Singapore). It's behind a glass case at Tang's.
Merry Christmas! - the very nice decoration by Tang's.
Seafood rice combo (calamari and shrimp) at Four Fingers (the name 'Bonchon' has been scrapped from the store's name).
Super stupid dining area at Four Fingers. Where people's feet have to literally dangle. Stupid stupid stupid. It's so difficult to eat. Again, stupid! (Try eating there, and you'll know why I'm irritated again)
Collecting all these paper to be recycled.
I hope everybody will do their part. Collect all paper and plastic and glass, and dump it into the recyling bins.

And oh, I also hope people would be considerate when using water. Just because you have the freedom to flush as many times, or to open the faucet to its maximum 'power', doesn't mean you have to.

For example, some girls, when they enter the toilet, even if it's clean, they would flush first.  Hello, the germs are on the toilet seat. Flushing won't make it go away.

And, if you're turning on the faucet, there's no need to exaggerate. You are not a fireman trying to stop a fire, so no need to open the faucet to the max. Fine, you can do so, but make sure the time needed to wash whatever you're washing is cut in half. Otherwise, what's the f*ck*ng point?

You know why I'm angry? because I remember the times in Manila when there were water shortages.  We had to save as much water as we could, and try to use as little as possible each time, because we don't know when there will be available water again.

Anyway, here's a pharoah, waiting for his ride at bus stop outside Marina Bay Sands.
 Gingerbread man.
I bought it from the charity booths at Novena Church.
A pack, containing 2 gingerbread man cost SGD6.  It's for charity, so it's okay.
What's not okay is that it's practically inedible.
It's super tough, a corrugated box would probably be more chewable.
 Eat.
At Far East Plaza. They serve local fares.
I ordered the satay beehoon. Look at the gravy!
Maybe it's nice, but I couldn't really comment because I don't like peanuts.
I ordered this by mistake. I though the satay would be similar to the satay in Manila, which is spicy and herby.
 My current favorite chocolates!
Look at the snowman! It's sooooo cute!!!
The shell is just like the m&m shells, except it's dusted with a white stuff.
 I never learn.
I've tried Friday's snack chips before, and it didn't taste good.
But I saw this and got tempted again.
Even though it's a different flavour from what I bought the last time, my verdict is still the same.
It's not good!
Office rearview mirror, a gift from Thomson Reuters.
I don't really need this, because my bosses are seated on my left and my right. My peripheral vision can take care of that.
But, this one I like! the bubble wrap!
