I Love Razon's Halo Halo
For my Singaporean friends, Halo halo is a popular dessert in the Philippines. It literally translates to 'mix mix'.
It's much like ice kacang, without the flavoring and some other ingredients.
Just like the kacang, there's quite a few variations too. The usual halo halo would have beans, banana, kaong (something like attap chee), macapuno (sweetend coconut), sometimes gelatin, slices of custard flan and ube (yam?), plus ice cream on top.
Razon's halo halo, on the other hand, only has a few ingredients. Minatamis na saging (sweetened banana), Sweetened coconut, soft crushed iced (as in no sharp ice edges), 2 slices of custard and milk.
That's why I love Razon's, it's tasty and doesn't have those other bothersome ingredients.
