Here in Singapore it's popularly knows as 'steamboat' or 'hotpot', in Manila people just refer to it as Shabu Shabu (even if it's not a Japanese restaurant).
After my brother was discharged from the hospital on Thursday (19Nov09), we went to Robinson's place Manila to breathe some fresh air (any air outside is fresher than hospital air) and to eat some nice food.
To be healthier, we chose Healthy Shabu Shabu, which is located at the Midtown wing of the mall.
I've eaten quite a few steamboats here in Sing, and I can say that Philippine shabu shabu is definitely comparable in taste, and winner in terms of price.
