Show.Me.The.Food!

Chicken Arroz Caldo (chicken porridge)

Celebrate 6-12-2010 (Philippine) Independence Day

C2 Restaurant at Shangri La Plaza Mall, Ortigas
Pan seared tilapia with coconut milk emulsion
(boneless, so it was a delight to eat. The coconut milk was a bit too strong though)

Lechon bagnet (fried pork)

Fish must be eaten together with the coleslaw provided and teeny bit of coconut milk to get that perfect burst of flavour and texture.
Bibingka souffle. A different twist to the famous Philippine Bibingka. The bowl there holds the sauce with cheese and egg.

The waiter told us to poke a hole...
and pour in the sauce. It's quite unique and interesting to eat, but a tad too sweet. That coming for someone who loves to eat sweets.

Dencio's - A well known Filipino restaurant that serves Filipino dishes.

Bangus sisig. (sizzling milkfish chunks). Yummy.

Sinigang na hipon (sour soup with prawns) and pinakbet (mixed vegetables cooked with shrimp paste).

Lumpiang shianghai. (Fried spring rolls)

We all ate the spring rolls, and ugh, they used old oil. We complained and they gave us a fresh plate (a bit burnt though, maybe the chef wasn't too happy with our comment). It tasted so much better.

Super Panalo = Super Winner
PHP99 meal comes with starter (soup or salad), main dish (personal pan pizza, rice topping, baked macaroni) and drink (iced tea or cola).
PHP99 is about SGD3!!!
My mushroom soup

Personal size hawaiian pizza.

Mmm... I love thick crust pizzas.

People usually don't eat the outer crust, but I love em... mmm.. I'd save them for last and savour them.

at Robinson's Place Manila

Father's day dinner
Whole fish, deboned and in plum sauce.

Dim sum plate.
Yang chow fried rice

Beef. Super tender beef. Mmmmm...

Wonton soup. I didn't eat the wonton, but the soup was savoury.

Sugar syrup and sago. For....

The tau-hue inside the cute bucket.

The quality wasn't smooth that night, but it was still good.
