Raksha Lor - An English Speaking Tour Guide

If you're going to Siem Reap in Cambodia, you are most likely going to visit the Angkor Wat and the various stone temples.

As a tourist, there are 2 ways to get around. One, ride a tuktuk (It's much like the tuktuk in Thailand, except in Cambodia, it can sit 6 regular-sized people). Two, you can rent a van.

Trust me, rent a van!

You can try the tuktuk experience by going from one market to the other, but if you use tuktuk to visit temples, by the end of the trip, you're as good as a burnt toast.

Anyway, when you go to the temples, you will need a tourguide because I doubt you'd really read the guidebooks.

Our tourguide's name is Raksha Lor.

Quite a good tourguide because :

1. He speaks English (a bit difficult to understand at first, but you'll get the hang of it)
2. He's patient (having to wait for us while we trudge slowly)
3. He's also a 'photographer'. (he takes good pictures! plus, from his other photographer clients, he has learned where to take good pictures)
4. He's honest ("your friend's zipper is open", "you have a mosquito on your face")
5. He doesn't emit any bad smell (which was amazing because he was wearing their tourguide's long sleeved polo uniform under the blazing sun! Gak! and anyway, the last thing you need in a trip is to have a stinky person onboard)

His contact details as follows:

Email: lorraksa@yahoo.com
Mobile: (855) 12 37 08 34
(855) 97 98 99 133

Please help pass the information around.
