Cultured Friday Afternoon



After our buffet at Peony Jade, we went to the National Museum for the Pompei exhibit

There was supposed to be a twelve dollar entrance fee for the exhibit, but since it was a holiday, entrance was free!

Pompei was one of the richer cities in Italy before. When the volcano erupted, it covered the entire city that for years after the eruption, nobody could remember where the city stood... until an archaeologist was able to dig it out...

Because it was a tragedy, I didn't take any pictures except for the ones below...
You can actually flip the screen 360 degrees and see the picture from all directions. Cool!

tsk tsk tsk, i cant believe this , nakalusot ang free entrance na to sa radar ko! hehehe.... sana dinaanan nyo n rin ang istana open house, since its just a couple of blocka away from the museum. :-)
