Nobody was entertaining us after we were showed to our table..tsk tsk. Not good. To think the place wasn't even packed.
kebabs and meat.
The appetiser - feta cheese , some mint, tomato, olives, etc
And the bread, to wrap above items.
The belly dancer finally came out.
She danced a minute or two on each table.
I have a smaller belly pouch than her! yey!
The starter platter. Lamb meat ball, sticky rice wrapped in some leaf, spinach with yogurt and I forgot what the other one was.
Everything was acquired taste. I ate everything, though I'm not sure if I'd ever crave for them. Ever.
Rice with saffron. This one was okay.
Dancing outside the resto. A lot of people gathered to take photos of her.
Ooooh the proteins! There's fillet mignon, chicken, prawn, and minced pork sauce like thing.
The dessert platter. We ordered platter from the appetiser to the mains to dessert.
The middle and right-most were okay. The ginger taste on the left-most was a bit overpowering.
I don't like flowers on my food.
I don't know what this is, it tasted coconuty. But it's okay, I liked it.
During her performance, I saw some guests tucked cash into her skirt. SGD50! multiplied by 3, because 3 people gave her tip. Not bad on a slow Sunday night.
*****************
We ate there because my friend bought coupons ( SGD25 for SGD50 worth of food). We used two coupons, and the total bill was about SGD140. Quite expensive. So each person (3 of us) shelled out SGD30.
I would definitely still eat the shawarma from Shiraz stalls, but I can say I won't be going back to their restaurant.
Food wasn't spectacular, and it's expensive. Imagine if we didn't have the coupons.
