I removed my Casio before going to the watch store.
I thought we'd be brought there for my watch collection.. but in the end, the transaction was done in Cortina Watch which was just beside Rolex. They're sister companies.
What happened was, I went to Rolex to ask about the watch that I wanted (this was in July), but the salesman wasn't too eager to assist. Fine, I went to Cortina Watch instead (only to find out that they're sister companies.) . So even though it was weird, I gave my order request to Sky of Cortina watch - mainly because he was nice and courteous and didn't look down on me (and also smart to know that I'm going to buy and not just asking for fun. Hello, I was showing all the signs.)
Ahhh..the watch finally on my wrist. And oh, the watch came from the clear sealed box. Untouched by anyone except my sales agent. She didn't even get the chance to sit on the display cabinet.
It's a 2-tone gold rose watch with fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet, pink dial with white strokes (index).
I suppose pink dial with index is uncommon, because I had to wait 1 month for it (total wait was 3 months. I ordered a two-tone rose gold domed with oyster bracelet on July, then changed my order on September).
Sky returning the excess bracelet pieces into the box,and putting everything there - the wiping cloth, warranty card etc).
I just realised, he didn't put on a glove when he was handling my watch. tsk tsk tsk. The only flaw in this entire thing.
The very cute crown latch.
It doesn't look pink, but it's pink in actual.
Ahahahay, watch+engagement ring, the 'atas' hand. Actually, it's quite a common sight here in Singapore. I never really noticed before, but when I started liking this watch, I started seeing it everywhere.
For my own recollection next time:
