My Hair is Moody

Fried Hair! Ewww! Like those in commercials, the 'before' look.

Lately, while in the office, I would look down and notice my hair. It seems my hair has gone haywire. Looks a bit fried or burnt or damaged.
I inspected the rest of my hair, and noticed that some other chunks of hair are okay. Smooth and straight.
Then today, I took extra time to put conditioner on the tips and barely combed my hair while it was still wet.. and what do you know, my hair was super straight and nice.
Wow, my hair is as moody as me.

Bag for my Bag

Too big!

Just right (but the bag organiser per se looks a bit messy, no?)

I just had to buy a bag organiser for my LV bag because it's a bit too..well, blank inside.
It's different from a Longchamp bag, whereas you can just dump it all in, and just dig in to get your stuff. Because of the shape of the LV (which is oblongish ), once I put my things in (wallet, make-up kit, cellphone, keys, ID), everything gets jiggly and messy.
I bought the black organiser from Square 2. As suspected, it was too big for the bag! So, on Thursday night, I bought another one from Takashimaya at 9.90. Perfect fit!

A Craving Fulfilled.. Aah

How come it's not so orangey? Not enough cheese! >=/

Twisted, I love!
***************************************************
I've been craving for Cheetos Twisted for almost three weeks, so last Sunday, I finally gave in and bought myself a big bag (because they don't sell it in small bags).
I was going to start dieting again on Monday, so I tried to finish the bag of Cheetos on Sunday but I just couldn't. So I left some and finished it off on Monday instead.
The Cheetos-craving shouldn't be bothering me again for the next 6 months.

A Week Crossed Out From My Calendar

It's become a habit to just blog during the weekend.. Not really by choice, but more of by lack of energy. I'm so drained everyday after office that I can't be bothered to blog in anymore..Actually, I haven't even been chatting with my mom and brother on weekdays, which is sad, because after all, these are the important moments in life, right? I hope it's still part of the adjustment stage, and not a permanent condition while I'm with the current Bank I'm with.

Anyway, this week was a bit better for me at work. There was none of those 'tears-threatening-to-spill-out moments, and, I can actually hear my voice getting louder while I talk to the clients, which means I'm gaining more confidence. Well, that's if client is just asking about bonds and shares. Otherwise, I don't have enough knowledge yet to really discuss with the clients.

Apart from work, it was a very healthy week for me.. up until Friday night. Basically, I ate sandwiches and salads for lunch and dinner... but Friday night, I ate mozzarella cheese pizza with parma ham and lobster sauce linguini. Gak!

Kiseki Japanese Buffet at The Heeren

Clam chowder
Dessert area

Rosti with sour cream and parmessan cheese and pizza (pizza was very good)

It's a joint effort to get the meat from the king crab

Chadah!

Chocolate and coconut pudding (annoyingly fragrant), cream puff with almost liquid cream, chocolate cake and corn crepe (crepe was suprisingly good)

Omelette and another round of pizza and pork sticks

My warm waffle with vanilla ice cream and strawberry syrup creation

My friend's abstract ice cream (the other flavours were very hard, so she couldn't shape them into an ice cream ball)

My semi-abstract ice cream

Per head is SGD38.
Will I go back? No.
If you want to eat a Japanese buffet, it would be better to go to Kuishin Bo at Suntec. Food is fresher, and place is cleaner.
I think that's what turned me off about this place. As always, I went to the toilet before attacking the buffet line. The toilet smelled bad. Not the pee or sh*^ smell, but something weird. Simply put, it's an unhygienic smell.
Anyway, the floor was equally untidy. There were wet patches on the floor, ice cube lying around, and when the waitress dropped a bowl of something, she didn't even bother to clean the floor.
My friend's chair (chair is in beige and of suede-like material) had hair on it (I hate the sight of fallen hair when I'm eating).
The food itself wasn't spectacular either. Out of all the things I ate, there's only 3 things I liked: pizza, corn crepe and grilled beef from the teppanyaki area.

An OFW's Happiness

Yey! We now have TFC at home! Now I can watch all those sappy teleseryes and depressing news on TV Patrol.
